Serving Our Community
Heaven Sent Automotive has always been passionate about giving back to our local Franklin and Williamson County community. We realize that our automotive repair shop can be more than just a place where vehicles get serviced. Supporting organizations in the community is our way of giving back, showing gratitude, and making a tangible difference in many lives. We understand that our success is tied to the trust and support of our local area. When communities thrive, everyone benefits, including local businesses.
We are thrilled to sponsor and donate to several local organizations to spread awareness and benefit great causes. From food collections and sponsorships to supporting organizations that help individuals in our community, we regularly host donation events, sponsor organizations and provide repair services. Customers and employees join these community efforts by donating items, their time or even money, filling donation bins and offering support that benefit local individuals, shelters and nonprofit organizations. Many customers learn about local charities and organizations for the first time and choose to remain active supporters after the initiative ends.
When you visit us, you are not only getting personalized service and trustworthy repairs, but you’re also becoming part of the Heaven Sent Automotive family. Community involvement continues to stand at the heart of what we do, extending our responsibility beyond cars and into the community we all share. Heaven Sent Automotive is dedicated and honored to be able to make a difference alongside our neighbors.
Organizations We Support:

The Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition, established in 1995, is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Their Emergency Access Fund (EAF) provides financial assistance to individuals in need due to their inability to work and/or mounting medical expenses incurred while undergoing treatment of breast cancer. This fund has aided in preventing evictions by paying mortgages, rent, utilities, insurance premiums and medical bills. Since its inception, The EAF has given $1,642,783 to 1,889 breast cancer patients and their families.
In October, Heaven Sent Automotive goes PINK!
Heaven Sent Automotive has supported the TBCC’s Emergency Access Fund by running an annual “Brakes for Breasts” campaign every October since 2018. Jody and Nikki Downes personally know several friends, teachers, families and loved ones that breast cancer has affected and have been past honorees for TBCC or have received support from the Emergency Access Fund. We also shockingly learned that approximately 42% of breast cancer patients will file for bankruptcy two years after a diagnosis!
How the program works is that for every brake service performed at Heaven Sent Automotive in October, customers receive free brake pads or shoes and only pay for the labor and any other parts. Heavensent Automotive donates 10% of the gross sales of all brake services during the month of October. In addition, owners, Jody and Nikki Downes, match this total amount and essentially double the donation.
Not only do our customers benefit from a lower invoice, but when they come to Heaven Sent Automotive for brake service in October, they also help support those in need due to the financial burden breast cancer treatment places on individuals in our area. Meanwhile, we are able to raise awareness about The Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition and all they do for individuals who are currently undergoing breast cancer treatment, but also for the many organizations and programs they support in our community.

Williamson County Animal Center is our public, open-intake shelter that serves the citizens of Williamson County. They receive over 3,000 domestic animals annually and have a 95% live release rate. The shelter can house up to 160 cats and 90 dogs as well as numerous "other" animals in their facility, including holding pens for livestock. Their building, programs and services are designed to offer the animals they care for and our community members the best experience a shelter can provide. Williamson County Animal Center partners with our community to find a good home for every adoptable pet, slow the homeless pet population growth rate, end animal neglect and abuse and be a positive force in the community.
Nikki and Jody know we have one of the best animal shelters in the country and have supported and adopted several pets from the Williamson County Animal Center throughout their 20+ years here in Williamson County, TN. In the past, Nikki has been involved with the shelter through outreach programs in her children’s Elementary and Middle School days. She has coordinated several donation collections and “Pet Adoption Days” over the years. Both Jody and Nikki love their furry friends and have always had several pets during their lifetimes.
Over the past three years, Heaven Sent Automotive has supported Williamson County Animal Center through sponsored pet adoptions. Each year, the shop sponsors several pet adoptions at the shelter during their “Paws-It-Furward” program every March and April. We also sponsor the pet adoption fees for our customers at Williamson County Animal Center during the months of March or April.

Friends of Williamson County Animal Center promotes and supports quality of life for all animals and the humans who care about them by ensuring a compassionate environment and humane treatment for the animals of Williamson County. They work with WCAC daily to understand and meet the needs of our communities’ animals. They provide financial support, programs, training and volunteer time that help to ensure WCAC remains a best-in-class shelter and a place where animals are valued and loved.
Since 2023, Heaven Sent Automotive has run its “Paws-It-Furward” Program during March or April which directly supports The Paw Pantry, a monthly program made possible by Friends of Williamson County Animal Center. They distribute pet food twice a month in Williamson County. Pet food is distributed free of charge to Williamson County residents who need assistance to keep their furry family together because of financial hardship. The amount of food they are able to distribute depends on the amount of donations they receive.
We offer our customers a special discount during March or April when they donate at least $10 of dry pet food. Our goal is to collect as much food as possible for the Friends’ Paw Pantry Program. In doing so, we hope to help numerous families in our community that are struggling to keep their pets because of the cost of pet food.

GraceWorks Ministries was established in 1995 by a group of Williamson County citizens and faith leaders who sought a comprehensive, collaborative solution to the complex issue of poverty. Our founders recognized that local low-income residents had diverse needs – food, clothing, housing support, and financial assistance – and most area nonprofits and churches focused on only one or two services. By pooling church resources with private and public sectors, GraceWorks has been able to offer wraparound services to many individuals and families in need, closing their more recent fiscal year having served 13,517 Neighbors.
Heaven Sent Automotive knows how important it is to give back. There are so many families in Williamson County that struggle with hunger and shelter. We have teamed up with Graceworks Ministries in either November or December since 2017 to help those families in need and give back to our community and customers!
We offer our customers a special discount during the month when they donate at least $10 of non-perishable items. Our goal is to collect as many food items as possible for our county. In doing so, we hope to help numerous families in our community that are struggling with hunger.

TinCup Charity Group, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Brentwood, Tennessee established in 2017. The mission of the organization is to partner with a different charity each year and donate funds raised directly to that charity. Their main event, The TinCup, is a day of golf and a night of live music. It has grown to be one of Middle Tennessee's premier charity golf events. Since inception, TinCup Charity Group has raised over $1,000,000 for incredible charities! Heaven Sent Automotive has been a sponsor for this great charity group since 2023 and is thrilled to offer our support again this year.

We recently partnered with Mechanics on a Mission Foundation by providing car repair services to those who are experiencing transportation insecurity. The Foundation delivers a lifeline to single parents, veterans, widows, those facing illness, women escaping abusive situations, and others who find themselves in vulnerable situations by providing free car repairs and free car donations. Mechanics on a Mission aims to provide reliable transportation to its beneficiaries, supporting their independence. In addition, they partner with numerous organizations including other non-profits, charities and churches.
OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT:
Since 2015, Heaven Sent Automotive has supported numerous other organizations in our community, either quarterly or yearly, by providing cash donations, sponsorships or car repair services. These organizations include The Shriners Circus, American Veterans Association, The Franklin Firefighters, The Brett Boyer Foundation, The American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, local Williamson County Schools and Churches, youth sports programs and even youth local go-kart and racing teams.
